Logo and brand identity design A logo and poster set for a local business working in music composition and production.
The company name was already established as Phylter, a play on words referencing music filters. Music filters transform the way you hear a piece of music, sometimes beyond recognition. The logo plays on this idea: the P itself can be seen in different ways; and I used collage in the segments to suggest the juxtaposition of found elements to create something new - very much how a lot of electronic music is created.
The word mark continues the idea of collage by using two different type styles to evoke a Dadaist cut and paste style, with a quiet nod to the Sex Pistols.
